Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot allows the player to bring pistols into an operation. Some players use it to help them attain certain goals, particularly those who are aiming for Suit Only. Some players use the extra pistol to bridge the gap. It's important to remember that to select the pistols in this slot, you need to click on the button for the appropriate category, like machine guns in the alternate slot. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are in use, making it much easier to use. This combo can also trigger a damage tick from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as you have it placed in.
Slot for items being smuggled
The smuggled items slot a great feature that lets players bring tools and weapons into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently shaped as pistols, which makes it hard to distinguish the smuggled item slot from other slots for gear.
The smuggle slot can hold an array of items, from subtle concussion devices, to weapons-grade explosives. These items can be found in a variety of hidden locations around the map. They can also be found any time. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes that hide small items in the scenery or objects.
Mission planning is a function available in episodic missions that lets players discover different starting locations equipment, smuggled items, and slots ahead of their entry into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This lets players plan the ideal task for every challenge.
Gear Slot
The gear slots will rapidly fill up early in the game, which will result in the dreaded message "Your Gear Slots Are Full". This message prevents Max to pick new equipment until the previous items are taken away or space is obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for completing challenging missions. Since a lot of these challenges can be overlooked and are scattered around the world, it may take a while to reach the maximum number inventory slots available in the game.
Five Gear Slots can be filled with up to 5 different gear types, which must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a break-in begins. Each gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.
Agents can pick up the passengers.
As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations let you keep items that do not fit in your concealed slot for weapons or gear and then retrieve it later.
These pickups can be very useful if your mission requires you to pass through a frisk or if you have a weapon on you that could raise suspicion. But, you are only able to hide one item per game at a pickup location for agencies.
This DLC also adds new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To start these missions, just talk to the receptionist at the agency and purchase armor and snacks. Once you have reached the mission marker you can identify a crowd at the time you arrive.
